David attended journalism school at the University of Georgia. He began his career with a national trade magazine, quickly working his way up to Editorial Director. After the magazine was sold, David accepted a position in media sales and 17 years later moved from Memphis to Nashville to accept a position with Meredith. David said, “moving here was one of the best things I have ever done. You can’t beat the music, the food, and the sports!”
